Lunate Office
To accommodate their rapid expansion, Lunate -an Abu Dhabi-based asset manager- asked us to deliver an exciting and elegant new workspace. Having outgrown their previous office, Lunate had plans to relocate to Al Maryah Tower, with a brand new workspace across five floors. As the first occupant in a building completed a decade ago, the premises needed major upgrades to the chiller and smoke extraction systems. This work was carried out alongside ours, meaning site access for deliveries was restricted to three hours per day. Careful coordination was needed to maximise access to each floor. Previously a shell and core, the completed space comprises a sleek reception area, a mixture of open and closed workspaces, a kitchen-diner, boardrooms, a bathroom, and a Majlis. Floor to ceiling partitions offer an abundance of natural light, while a mixture of statement lighting fixtures add a stylistic edge to the space. Meeting rooms can go from open to closed at the touch of a button, thanks to the added feature of smart film on the glass partitions.
